As a young champion for preventing noncommunicable diseases (NCDs), I pledge to:
- Move More:
- Walk at least 30 minutes, 5 days a week
- Take active breaks during study/work sessions
- Join a sports team or fitness class
- Eat Smart:
- Choose fruits and vegetables as snacks daily
- Drink water instead of sugary drinks
- Stay Smoke-Free:
- Never start smoking or vaping
- Encourage friends and family to quit
- Support smoke-free environments in my community
- Limit Alcohol:
- Abstain from alcohol as a minor
- Learn about the risks of excessive drinking
- Promote alcohol-free social activities (it’s possible!)
- Spread Awareness:
- Share NCD prevention tips on social media weekly
- Organize a health fair at my school
- Talk to my family about healthy lifestyle choices
- Regular Check-ups: Visit my doctor for annual health screenings
