As a young champion for preventing noncommunicable diseases (NCDs), I pledge to:

  1. Move More:
  • Walk at least 30 minutes, 5 days a week
  • Take active breaks during study/work sessions
  • Join a sports team or fitness class
  1. Eat Smart:
  • Choose fruits and vegetables as snacks daily
  • Drink water instead of sugary drinks
  1. Stay Smoke-Free:
  • Never start smoking or vaping
  • Encourage friends and family to quit
  • Support smoke-free environments in my community
  1. Limit Alcohol:
  • Abstain from alcohol as a minor
  • Learn about the risks of excessive drinking
  • Promote alcohol-free social activities (it’s possible!)
  1. Spread Awareness:
  • Share NCD prevention tips on social media weekly
  • Organize a health fair at my school
  • Talk to my family about healthy lifestyle choices
  1. Regular Check-ups: Visit my doctor for annual health screenings
